Martha Godber

Martha Godber is an actress born and bred in Hull who graduated from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) in 2018. Credits Include The Full Monty Series (Disney+) Residue (Matador Pictures) Talk to me: HP Lovecraft (BBC Radio 4) RIGHT (The Old Vic) & Home Girl (Derby Theatre).

Martha works as Social Media & Marketing Manager for the John Godber Company.

In 2020 Martha formed The Godber Theatre Foundation and is passionate about making a difference to the lives of aspiring dramatists in Hull and East Yorkshire, the foundation helps those from underrepresented backgrounds make their way into the industry.

As an actor Martha has appeared in numerous John Godber Company productions, such as Moby Dick, Angels of the North and Sunny Side Up.

Martha was a finalist in the prestigious Spotlight Showcase 2018 and was awarded the Joan Plowright Lady Olivier Award 2018 for best acting performance.
